Security at Work
You should never do anything that could harm another person, or put somebody in danger at work, always be aware of everything you do, especially if you work in environments where, for example, picking things up or clearing pathways is imperative for the safety of the team, you should always be aware of everything you do and the impact it could have on somebody else, this is the key to a safe workplace.
When being given health and safety training, always pay attention to everything you are being told, this training is to help you work safely throughout your environment, and by ignoring it you are putting yourself and others in danger. As well as this, should you then have an accident, you will not be entitled to any compensation, because the accident will have been caused by your disregard for the health and safety guidelines. Always be aware of the correct way to do your job to ensure there are no accidents.
As well as this you should always report anything you think might cause a problem within the workplace, or be against the health and safety guidelines, never leave it for anyone else to report. If you ever believe you might be at risk then you should stop what you’re doing and leave the area immediately to inform your manager of the risk and see what action should be taken. Health and safety in the workplace should not be taken lightly, you should always be aware of what you can do to ensure everybody’s safety at all times.
